Professor Wu Jinan, Senior Fellow of the Institute for Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao Studies, SIIS. Prof. Wu Jinan used to work as Director of the Department of Japanese Studies at SIIS. He is also the President of Shanghai Association of Japanese Studies. Prof Wu published widely on Japan’s domestic politics, Japan’s foreign relations with other countries. Prof. Wu was a visiting fellow at Japan’s National Institute for Research Advancement from 1989 to 1990. From 1994-1995, he was a visiting scholar at Department of International Affairs, University of Tokyo.
