On Feb. 10, 2021, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of Academic Affairs of SIIS met with Mr. Karel Srol, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai. The two sides had a discussion on strengthening China-Czech and China-Europe cooperation, and international issues of common concern.

Mr. Lukas Svatek, Ecomonic and Culture Affairs Consul at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai and Dr. Long Jing, deputy director of the Center for European Studies of SIIS also participated in the meeting.
