On October 19, 2020, the U.S. Consul General in Shanghai James Heller visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS, and Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Council of SIIS, met with the Consul General respectively and exchanged views on Sino-U.S. relations. Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies,Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Department of International Exchangeand research fellow Dr. Yang Li, participated in the dialogue.
