On May 21, 2020, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Chris Allison, Political and Economic Section Chief at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai and exchanged views on the Covid-19 pandemic and China-US relations. Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Department for International Exchanges, Dr. Su Liuqiang, research fellow of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, and Mr. Zhang Chong from the Department for Research Management also participated in the meeting.
