On May 11, 2020, SIIS president Chen Dongxiao met with Dr. Christine Althauser, Consul General of Germany and her colleagues. The two sides exchanged views on China-Germany relations under the Covid-19 pandemic and Shanghai’s economic and social development. Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Department for International Exchanges and Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies attended the meeting.
