On May 7, 2020, SIIS president Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Ramazan Parvaz, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Shanghai and exchanged views on China-Iran relations under the Covid-19 pandemic and Shanghai’s economic and social development. Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Department for International Exchanges and Dr. Liu Xin, research fellow of the Center for West Asia & Africa Studies attended the meeting.
