On April 24, 2020, SIIS and the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS Indonesia)  jointly held a video seminar entitled "COVID-19: Lessons and Experiences from China". The seminar was chaired by Dr. Philips J. Vermonte, Executive Director of CSIS Indonesia. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS and Pan Hao, Director of Department of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, The Shanghai City Disease Prevention and Control Information Platform, delivered a keynote speech at the meeting and exchanged their views with the audience online.
