On April 9, 2020, the 2nd Video Conference on International Cooperation on Pandemic Control and China-US Relations is held at Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. The conference is chaired by Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Affairs Council and participated by President Chen Dongxiao, Jeffery Bader, Former Special Assistant to the US President, Senior Director for Asia and Pacific of the National Security Council, and Jonathan Pollack, Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Participants have a pragmatic discussion on how to rally international efforts to fight against the covid-19 pandemic and further stabilize China-US relations.
