On August 15, 2019, the Seminar on Macroeconomic Planning for Zimbabwe organized by the International Cooperation Center at the National Development and Reform Commission visited SIIS. Dr. Zha Xiaogang, Deputy Director of the Department for Think-tank Development and Research Management and Dr. Xue Lei, research fellow of the Institute for World Economy gave a presentation on China’s experience of reform and opening up, the trend of China’s economy and world economy, China-US trade friction and its impact on the world economy, and the reform of WTO etc.
