On June 28, 2019, a delegation of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) (Germany) led by Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, Deputy Secretary General visited SIIS and met with SIIS President Chen Dongxiao. The two sides had a discussion on the role of China on the global stage. Prof. Ye Qing, assistant president of SIIS, Prof. Zhang Yinghong, director of the Center for European Studies, and Dr. Xue Lei from the Institute for World Economy studies participated in the meeting.
