On June 10, 2019, Ms. Andrea Brinza, Vice-President of the Romanian Institute for the Study of the Asia Pacific, visited SIIS. Dr. Zha Xiaogang from the Center for West Asian & African Studies of SIIS, Prof. Zhang Yinghong, director of the center for European Studies and deputy director Long Jing,  Dr. Pan Xiaoming from the Institute for World Economy Studies met with her and had a discussion on the impact of the BRI on the China-EU relationship and the European politics.
